Did the pencils for this picture a while ago...like a year or two. just kind of sat around. Didn't want to color it until I got better at photoshop. Well iIm better, so here it is.
A new Yuuzhan Vong threat emerges as an as of yet named Jedi character, fallen from the graces of the council, starts on his quest of personal realization. The Force, he now believes, is neutral, and that light and dark are only perspectives. To master himself and the force, he seeks out the the training of an ancient Wookie Jedi, now a healer of his people; and a mistress of the dark side. He hopes that with the teachings of both sides, and his talent for reaching compromise, he will find the Balance of the Force within himself.
Since the drawing of this picture, I've redesigned the Jedi character, and written down other details about his storyline. The idea of the Force being neutral isn't new, but it's not often explored. However, I personally think that this is why the Jedi and the Sith can never really eliminate each other, both are too wrapped up in their own dogmas to learn about the other side and find a middle ground. One cannot have light without dark. The brighter the flame, the darker the shadow.
